Kick off the holiday weekend Friday December 21st with ARTE Y TAPAS!
The ARTE Y TAPAS Performance Series returns to the Red Poppy Art House in celebration of the holidays and the Mayan calendar with live music, artisan tapas, visual art exhibition, holiday gift sale, and more!
LIVE MUSIC - Original music by the Bay Area's own singer-songwriter Monica Marie Fimbrez, a special set of Son Jarocho music featuring Raul Perales and Maria De La Rosa, and special guest appearance by Stina da Silva! (www.monicamariefimbrez.com)
TAPAS - In honor and celebration of the Mayan calendar, artisan tapas by Lovage Cooking will include foods of the ancient and contemporary Mayans. Complimentary tapas include chilmole, from-scratch salsas, stoneground totopos and fresh housemade sweet potato fries! There will also be a pop-up specialty taco bar under $4 as well as fairtrade Costa Rican hot chocolate, beer and wine by suggested donation.
