The San Diego ASLA Stewardship Committee will be hosting an educational event on Friday August 4th at Silver Gate Yacht Club located at 2091 Shelter Island Drive in Point Loma.

Come and learn about tree specifying and pruning for proper central leaders, scaffolding, and structure. Proper details and specifications, upcoming in depth workshops from Urban Tree Foundation. From trees we move to shrubs new and true that work with LOW MWELO requirements. You cannot talk about plant material and specifying without considering regional pests to look out for and how to treat for them. Have existing trees that you need to consider? We will inform you of the proper design, irrigation and construction techniques to assure the health and longevity in the new landscape.
We will end the event with a waterfront happy hour! Join us for a fun and educational event!
