The Tannahill Weavers are one of Scotland's premier traditional bands. Their diverse repertoire and exuberant performances span the centuries with fire-driven instrumentals, topical songs, and original ballads and lullabies. The Tannahill Weavers' arrangements blend the beauty of the traditional melodies with the power of modern rhythms. The penetrating sound of the Highland bagpipes is a thread of ancient memory running through it all.
"An especially eloquent mixture of the old and the new", says the New York Times.
