Totally Thames: Bermondsey Foreshore Archaeological Walk
Join this archaeological walk with Dr Fiona Haughey exploring London's illustrious shipbuilding past through to site of a possible ancient murder.
Explore the site of a shipbuilding and boat repair yard and a bustling wharf-side industry as well as examining timber from vessels over 200 years old. Come and see where there is evidence of human activity over 5000 years ago and decide whether a skeleton of the late medieval period found in 2002 was a victim of murder or accidental death.
