Your offically-unofficial kick off to PRIDE week begins here! Come get it started with rad beers and fellow queers at everyones favourite hangout party. Cause SUNS OUT, FUNS OUT!
WOW! It's been so amazing to see how much our party has grown! Three years ago we transformed our monthly brewery meet-up group into a full blown, sun-soaked, fabulous craft beer tasting party! To celebrate our THIRD BIRTHDAY were bringing you our biggest, hoppyest, queerest and down right thirst-quenchingest party yet.
Queers & Beers is here to make all your day-drinking-dreams come true. Weve got more of everything you love: special brews, pool, pinball, video games, food trucks, vintage-vibes spinning, AND!!! We are SO very excited to announce that Greenscape Design & Decor will be transforming the WHOLE PARKING-LOT PATIO into a tropical beer garden!

All guests are invited to keep the party going and enjoy a showcase of NEWBIE ALL-STARS drag performers and dance night for no extra cover charge. This round of performers are some of our favourite rookies from the past year AND they are competing for a paid gig at MAN UPs PRIDE party! Stay to cast your vote!

THE BUDDY SYSTEM:
The Buddy System is a grassroots effort to combat rape culture and enhance the safety of our queer events. CONSENT IS SEXY -- AND MANDATORY! Oppressive attitudes and behaviour -- including but not limited to misogyny, transphobia, racism, fatphobia, and ableism -- are not welcome here. The Buddy System will be in effect at Queers & Beers: Pride Edition. Buddies will be wearing **NEON T-SHIRTS**. Our Buddies are NARCAN trained, and are carrying sealed water bottles, penis/vagina condoms, lube, granola bars, tampons, and more. They will run interference if someone is receiving unwanted attention, can help someone find a way home and generally serve as go-to support people should any problems arise.
Queers & Beers is an event is being held on unceded Indigenous land belonging to the Coast Salish peoples. This includes the territories of the Musqueam, Skxwú7mesh-ulh, Stó:lo & Tsleil-Waututh nations. In recognition of this, and of the historical and ongoing genocide against the Indigenous Peoples of this land, we (settlers/occupiers) will be donating a portion of profits from each event to Indigenous Self-Determination work. For this event, we'll be donating to Kwi Awt Stelmexw Language Reconciliation Fund: https://www.kwiawtstelmexw.com/campaign/language-fund/
