Let's Not Waste a Moment: The Impact of MILK AND HONEY
Sunday, May 6, 2018 | 3:00 PM Cuyahoga Community College Eastern Campus
When you fall in love as a middle-aged couple, how does that compare with a romance when you're young? The 1961 musical Milk and Honey explores the question against the colorful, passionate backdrop of the state of Israel, then just 13 years old. In 2018, we celebrate the 70th anniversary of statehood by telling the story behind the first Broadway production with music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, who went on to write three of the biggest hits of his time: Hello, Dolly!, Mame and La Cage aux Folles.
Hosted by Bill Rudman and Nancy Maier | New arrangements by Ty Alan Emerson| FeaturingSheri Gross, Rob Ross and Kathy Wolfe Sebo | Co-produced with the Cleveland Israel Arts Connection, a program of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland
