Southern Pig Roast

The Decatur Farmers Market in partnership with Wild Heaven Beer will be hosting our first annual Southern Pig Roast at the Wild Heaven brewery on Sunday, July 30th! This event will feature a whole pig roasted by Chef Terry Koval of the Wrecking Bar with southern inspired sides from Rising Son and Farm Burger.

Tickets include:

36 ounces of Wild Heaven Beer
A family style meal, including a Riverview Farms pig and Springer Mountain Chicken prepared by Terry Koval of the Wrecking Bar in addition to southern sides prepared by Rising Son and Farm Burger Decatur.
Commemorative beer glass

King of Pops and Golda Kombucha will also be on site to offer up some sweet treats and non-alcoholic beverages. The event will also host a raffle and silent auction.

Proceeds go towards benefiting our educational and food access programming at the Decatur Farmers Market including the Georgia Fresh for Less Program and educational chef programming. The GF4L program helps our Decatur neighbors and families access affordable, fresh, and locally-grown food and brings new customers to local farmers.

Wild Heaven Beer is family friendly. Tickets for children under 21 are available. Kids under 10 are free to attend.
