Wee Willie Walker, Anthony Paule and Terrie Odabi.
Wee Willie Walker, Anthony Paule and Terrie Odabi with full horn section.
We tried this back in May and Willie was ill - for those who came it was an evening of Terrie Odabi! Now you get it all.
Wee Willie Walker is the winner of TWO 2016 Living Blues Music Awards! Critics Poll COMEBACK ARTIST OF THE YEAR and Best Blues Album of 2015 NEW RECORDINGS / SOUTHERN SOUL for his Little Village Foundation release If Nothing Ever Changes
Walker's music comes from a different time, a different place and a different point of view. He's one of the few vocalists from the era that is still standing and that can still sing.
Anthony Paule has been a mainstay of the Bay Area music scene for many years touring and recording with luminaries such as Boz Scaggs, Charlie Musselwhite, Johnny Adams, Maria Muldaur, The Johnny Nocturne Band, Norton Buffalo, John Nemeth, and others.
Terrie Odabi is easily the most dynamic blues and soul woman to have emerged in the Bay Area since Etta James came out of San Francisco's Fillmore District in the Fifties. Terrie has a powerful set of pipes, writes terrific tunes, leads a kicking band and has onstage movements that perfectly match the rhythms of her material.
