The Gayatri mantra, is a powerful mantra (mind tool) of illumination. Many saints and sages for millennia have said that Gayatri mantra is the most powerful of mantra (mind tools) to help one experience realization/illumination. Cultures and traditions around the world recognize the power and presence of Divine Light- and depicted it in various ways through the art. Gayatri is a main mantra and one that I've deepened in for decades. Even if you know the mantra, you may benefit from refinement of pronunciation (nada yoga) and additional techniques with the body and mind to experience the benefits of this benevolent mantra. Having chanted this mantra for much of my life, and experienced refinements for over a decade with my guruji in it, I am in awe and gratitude of its benevolent, illuminating, liberating power.
All welcome, whether you've chanted this mantra a lot or not at all. No experience needed. If you are called and come, then you are meant for the benefit of this precise powerful mantra practice. Participants will gain precise pronunciation refinements, options for subtle refinements in practice and other physical and non-physical techniques for a palpable experience in this mantra of light.

ABOUT GINA SALA: Gina has been chanting mantra and has been focused on spiritual studies and sound since the age of 3 living in a Hindu ashram. She leads sound retreats, workshops, chanting and tours internationally, and has been studying sound with Indian sound masters beginning in 1992, as well as with Shamans and others over the years. With a repertoire spanning 23 languages, she has sung for Cirque du Soleil, and at venues such as the UN, Ram Nomi on Ram Ghat on the Ganges, and the US Capitol. For the past 7 years, she has focused on Sound Tantra with her sound gurus in India, including Vagish Shastriji who has helped refine and deepen her in Gayatri mantra. With a deep love of the Divine in many forms, and a respect for the power of sound and voice that continues to deepen, her passion is singing us awake to Who we are.
