Loren and Mark MATINEE
Back by popular demand Loren Barrigar and Mark Mazengarb share a unique musical chemistry and stage presence seldom found among musicians. Their diverse repertoire of original and arranged music consists of stunning guitar instrumentals as well as vocal duets giving them wide appeal and strong audience connection.
Influenced by Americana, Jazz, Country Western and Classical music, their unique style of guitar playing is largely built upon the thumb picking techniques pioneered by guitar greats Merle Travis and Chet Atkins, and their songs feature superb vocals by Loren with some beautiful harmonies from Mark.
At the venue, the center section of the auditorium is reserved for series subscribers. General admission tickets are for open seating surrounding the reserved section. Subscribers, benefactors, and volunteers will be admitted at 3:15 to preselect seats; general admission begins at 3:30. After making seat selections, everyone is invited to visit PLPAs no-host wine bars in the Great Room and then enjoy an exhibit by an Artists' League member. The concert starts at 4:00 p.m.
