Hard rockers and Oregon Music Hall of Famers Marv and Rindy Ross shape-shift into singer-songwriter mode for a sunny backyard concert in southwest Portland, Sunday July 30 at 6pm. As Quarterflash http://quarterflash.net/, Marv and Rindy built one of the most successful bands to ever come out of Portland, touring with the likes of Elton John, stacking up platinum records and a major studio film soundtrack ("Nightshift"). Since then they've reinvented themselves with The Trail Band http://www.trailband.com/, and now, distilling the fun and intensity of Quarterflash into a powerful acoustic duo, their vocals complimented by Marv's unique guitar tunings and Rindy's trademark sax.
