GroundWork
This January, Do It Livepresents its first ever staged reading of a full-length never-before-produced work.
GroundWork is an event dear to Do It Live! We consider this a night of humble offerings, a thank you for allowing us as a company to share our endeavors with you. GroundWork is an event in the style of a potluck. This will be a night of home comforts, good wine and excellent theater and we encourage to bring out whatever you'd like to share with our growing community!
In "Where it Feels," Hana is feeling dangerously close to slipping into a post-undergrad sticky pit of ennui and dodging the matchmaking attempts of her over zealous best friend isn't helping. When stood up for a date with bachelor number infinity, she, instead, meets a queer individual trying to live outside of the gender binary and falls heart-first into a relationship with this person. As this unsteady, unexpected union unfolds, it challenges both the lovers and those around them to question, "Am I capable of loving another person and if I am, do I even want to?"
