Greg Silsby, Dustin Greer, and Mike Zanger
Greg Silsby (formally front man for renowned Bluegrass band Cumberland Gap) is a long, tall drink of mountain water, with a tenor voice that cuts through the air like a sharpened wing. He's not smooth, he doesn't croon or wail, but his pitch is precise and his feel for original and traditional American material is convincing. Dustin Greer (front man of Riverbend) is a multi-instrumentalist with emphasis on traditional bluegrass guitar and Monroe-style mandolin. In addition to playing with countless bands from West to Midwest, Dustin also teaches advanced classes at the KDHX Folk School. Mike Zanger, owner/operator of infamous Log House Concerts of Edwardsville IL, is also a fine guitarist and crafty songwriter. This one will be a fun'un!
