Politics and Prose Presents KARL OVE KNAUSGAARD
Karl Ove Knausgaard's MY STRUGGLE novels have captivated readers across the world. Zadie Smith has raved about them, and Norwegian offices have had to declare MY STRUGGLE-free days in order to keep workers on track. With Autumn, Knausgaard launches a new cycle of books, each named for a season. This first takes the form of a series of letters to his unborn daughter, describing the world shes about to inhabit. He uses his trademark precision to draw our attention to the beauty of nature and routine, turning a welcome to his child into a substantive set of meditations for us all.
Knausgaard will be in conversation with Sandra Beasley, author of DON'T KILL THE BIRTHDAY GIRL, a memoir that doubles as a cultural history of food allergy, as well as three poetry collections, most recently COUNT THE WAVES.
