Please join us for the monthly meeting of the IMA on December 5. This is our annual BREAKFAST meeting and we are pleased to bring back Gary Stirbis to provide a tax update, and he has PLENTY to talk about!

Gary will present an objective look at President Obama's proposed tax plan, and he will apprise us on the potential impact of various controversial hot topics. Criticalconcepts include an in depth look at President Obama's proposed tax plan to incorporate the potential impact on income, estate, capitals gain tax, and various credit incentives. He will also address the impact ofthe potential "Fiscal Cliff". Lastly, he will address the IRS enforcement initiatives for the next 12 to 36 months as articulated by the Internal Revenue Service. Gary's current title is "Director of Tax Controversy and Dispute Resolution" for all of Moss Adams.

Gary Stirbis is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Tax Section and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. He has a Master of Laws in Taxation from the UW School of Law, Juris Doctor - Cum Laude, Seattle University School of Law, and a BA in Finance from New Mexico State University. He has over 20 years of experience in finance and federal income tax planning in both public and private industry.
