Tis the season! What better way to celebrate than by cozying up ringside and enjoying one of Xmas' most beloved stories. But what exactly is the story, anyway?

The Quasimondo, Milwaukee Physical Theatre--voted Best Physical Theatre Company 2012 by Milwaukee Magazine--is proud to present NUTCRACKER vs. MOUSE KING, strikingly adapted from the original story by German writer E.T.A. Hoffman. Strange and surreal, "Nussknacker und Mausekönig", written in 1816, was criticized at its time of publication for being too mature for children and too fantastical for adults.

This exciting production challenges the power of imagination, and takes its audience on a wicked trip to the battlefield, through mouse-holes, across continents-time and space-to explore the territory that lies between fantasy and reality.
