*Data/ At Large Leeds, UK *-Utah Saints are DJ Tim and Jez Willis. They have been DJ-ing dance music since the birth of house music and they have sold over 2 million records worldwide! Unlike many other successful acts who have turned their skills to DJ-ing, Utah Saints were DJs first and foremost before they had world-wide success with their production, remixes and of course Utah Saints.
DJ Tim was a DMC UK mixing championship finalist, and both he and Jez were responsible for setting up and promoting the legendary Gallery (later The Pleasure Rooms-home of Back to Basics) club in Leeds, at which they were both resident DJs. The Utahs have produced writtin and mixing over 20 international "hits" for themselves and other artists. Chart toppers in the U.K. for Utah Saints include: 6 Top 40 Hits, 4 of those were top 10. They have toured extensively as the Utahs and have played most major festivals including Glastonbury, Reading and the V-festivals and have also toured with U2 where they supported them in the U.K. and across Europe.
Tim and Jez have collaborated with many famous artists, including Chuck D from Public Enemy and soul legend Edwin Starr. They have done remixes for world renowned artists such as Stone Roses, Annie Lenox, Human League, Blondie, and many others.
Utah Saints have recorded mix shows for various radio stations worldwide, including Radio 1, Xfm, Kiss, Galaxy, and Ministry of Sound Online. They also presented the hugely successful History of Dance show on Kiss radio. Utah Saints DJ sets are made up of a collision of many styles ranging from breaks, electro, hip hop and mash ups which is cut together with precision and energy. Most of the tracks they play are their own edits/versions of tracks, with many exclusives. Now back in studio, working on new material, DJ mix album, and of course exclusive tracks for our DJ sets.
