Judgment at Nuremberg
An ensemble show set three years after the most important Nazi leaders had already been tried for crimes against humanity, Judgment at Nuremberg focuses on a trial of four German judges for their actions during the Nazi regime, including sterilization and cleansing policies. Judge Dan Haywood, the chief justice in the case from North Carolina, attempts to understand how such atrocities could happen in such a cultural country and how the people could not have known about the Holocaust. With the Cold War starting many people want the trials to end and to forget the past.
Based on the 1961 Oscar winning film starring Spencer Tracy, Judy Garland, Maximilian Schell, Marlene Dietrich, Burt Lancaster and William Shatner.
