About the shows: "There Ain't No More!" An award winning tour-de-folk operetta celebrating Americas vanishing original art form. In his final performance, an old folksinger confronts his lost love, experiences of the Vietnam War, years of political activism, adventures into the American wilderness, and death itself with five instruments, square-dance calling, and dirty jokes in this heartfelt hootenanny. The play is the product of five years of research, poetry, field recording, music-mentorship, and folklore in the Arkansas Ozarks.
A poetic celebration of America's original art form that is simultaneously ancient and avant-garde. -The Orlando Weekly
"The Legend of White Woman Creek" The American frontier, 1867... A young woman flees her war-torn home to start a new life in an unfamiliar land. A thirteen song cycle of love, betrayal and revenge sung by the ghost of Anna Morgan Faber. "The Legend of White Woman Creek" is a music-theater piece told from the perspective of a ghost in western Kansas. It weaves a narrative through thirteen original folk songs based on the traditional music that first inspired Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, and Joan Baez.
"Splendidly moving vocals, exquisite guitar artistry and rich emotional range convey genuinely epic storytelling." -Minneapolis Star Tribune
