Dinner and live performance from Romania!
You are cordially invited to an extraordinary Romanian folkloric show featuring the Floricica Dance Ensemble, singer Silvia Bordeianu and the Baradache Band, made possible by a collaboration with the non-profit Anacortes Sister Cities Association. The Floricica Ensemble from Comarnic, Romania regularly performs dances from all the major regions of Romania and was founded to promote and preserve the rich and authentic Romanian folk dances, customs and traditions. Singer Silvia Bordeianu hails from Bacau, a municipality of Moldova, Romania. She started her musical career when she was only seven years old and has since participated in both national and international folkloric competitions. With her diverse repertory and wonderful voice, she will take you on a virtual musical tour of Romania. Last but not least, the show will feature the Baradache family of artists also from Comarnic, Romania, a live band that comprises accordion, keyboard and saxophone players, together with their talented vocalist Irina Mierlita.
The dinner performance will be hosted by the Three Holy Hierarchs Romanian Church, 6402 226th St SW, Mountlake Terrace, WA on August 15th, 2017 at 6:30 PM. Don't miss this special occasion to celebrate the beautiful, lively Romanian folk dances and music and enjoy performances by talented artists on tour from their native Romania.
