Finding the Missing "I"
Good Medicine Productions Presents Brave Young Voices in collaboration with St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. This unique original youth-devised performance is the culmination of 6 weeks of acting, movement, and writing workshops. This powerful show honors the voice of the young person: Their passions, their fears, their hopes and dreams. Do not miss the one-of-a-kind performance from Westerville youth.
Brave Young Voices (BYV) is a youth theatre project that offers young people a safe, creative and non-judgmental space where we honor the young persons voice. We work with youth ages 12-18 to empower them to be the change they want to see in the world and to share their unique and diverse experiences by leading them in performance-based workshops. This theatre will bring together a diverse group of young people to learn from one another and engage in art-making that unites their voices by using the power of theatre to share their stories.
We believe that theatre builds community, promotes dialogue among diverse voices, and creates opportunities for those voices that have often been quieted to finally be heard.
**In addition, we will have a Premier Jewelry Fundraiser. 1/2 of all proceeds will go to benefit Brave Young Voices. Door will open at 1:15pm and 5:15pm In order to for you to have time to peruse the very chique, stylish jewelry.
