Hampton Beach Comedy Festival hosted by Jimmy Dunn
Scamps Comedy presents the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival hosted by Jimmy Dunn. Each year, the HBCF produces four nights of great comedy showcases at the New Hampshire seacoast resort's iconic Ashworth by the Sea, 295 Ocean Boulevard, featuring New England's best comedians.
Jimmy Dunn, a Hampton resident who has performed stand-up comedy and surfed all over the world, is the headliner-host of all four shows. A former cast member of the CBS sitcom The McCarthy's, Dunn has performed stand-up nationally on The Late Show with David Letterman, and regionally in multiple roles on NESN -- notably as the "voice" on the dating show Sox Appeal, on the Red Sox Pre-Game Show, and in a series of funny commercials for Olympia Sports.
Among the Festival highlights for 2017 are appearances by Lenny Clarke (Rescue Me, The Job, The John Larroquette Show), WAAF afternoon host Matty Blake, and Kerri Louise from Last Comic Standing.

Shows run from Thursday through Sunday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20, available on line, by calling (800) 838-3006, and at the Ashworth by the Sea, 295 Ocean Boulevard, Hampton. Tickets will also be available at the door (cash only).
