The Portland Kora Project will be playing us live music before the movie starts. This season's theme is the 90's and we all love Bill Murray, soooooooo we will be showing 'What About Bob' Did I mention you should ride your bike?! It's a bike in movie ya'll. Ticket includes admission, food, wine and a farmy movie treat.
MF TASTY FOOD CART Chef/owner Eric Gitenstein started MF Tasty as a secret supper club popping up around Phoenix, AZ in 2010. Their schtick was for one night only, for this price we will be offering this menu. Location was only revealed to those that reserved spots, and then poof! On to the next menu/location. Now Eric and his wife Nicole are in Portland serving you with a theme of Southwest Inspired. Portland Made. What does that mean? What is Southwestern food? Are there green chiles on everything? Different regions showcase different products. Living in Arizona for about 20 years has made their love for these flavors grow, and they want to share these with Portland. This is where Southwest Inspired. Portland Made comes into play. Oregon has some of the most amazing local products a chef could ask for, so they want to utilize these ingredients and combine them with a flavor profile we know and miss. However dont be surprised if you see a special or two that strays from their wheelhouse. In his ten years cooking he has worked at restaurants specializing in other cuisines, and if they can make it, well they want to share it."
SCENIC VALLEY FARMS Scenic Valley Farms is a family farm that has been operating in Oregon for three generations. All of our wines are made with fruit from our estate vineyards, and hand crafted from harvest to bottling. We at Scenic Valley truly believe that being hands-on from vine to bottle allows us to offer the highest quality product at an honest price.
Grüner (2016) Fermented 15% on skins & bottled in traditional green 1L crown-cap bottles, this is a serious wine in a sexy package. Crisp notes of citrus & tannins make it a perfect pairing with grilled vegetables or raw oysters.
Rosé of Pinot Noir (2016) We wild-fermented two barrels of this wine, racked it off it's lees and aged it 6 months in neutral oak. Bottled with no sulfur, it's a savory and spicy wine that defies expectations.
Pinot Noir (2015) "Pretty and aromatic with engaging scents of cherries and cream, this has immediate appeal. Drink with pork, poultry, salmon and salads - this is your go-to anytime bottle. Editors' Choice." - Paul Gregutt, Wine Enthusiast
THE PORTLAND KORA PROJECT Will, Ben, and Darian perform traditional, contemporary, and original compositions with influences ranging from Senegalese and Malian traditional song, Afro-Caribbean folk and dance, American folk and jazz, among other genres. The band was assembled in summer of 2016 after the musicians met while playing together in other contexts. Each brings their own musical influences based in performance and study.
