GHOSTDRIVERS: The Musical (A New Works Project Staged Reading)
21 years ago RV driving honeymooner Ghostdriver Sam was whisked away from earth and bride to forever roam the skies in search of a rest stop, guilty of certain unspecified RV-ing sins. As per the Flying Dutchman and other characters of legend, the Deciders in the Sky grant Sam an earthly touchdown every seven years to earn redemption through undying love. Sam's big opportunity nears just as his abandoned but faithful wife Donna begins her new job at Big T's Trailer Town! GHOSTDRIVERS:The Musical is Donna's song-filled journey across the American Southwest to re-unite with Sam, aided by a pair of bungling Cowboy Sprites and a batch of unwitting co-workers. She must succeed against all odds, the oddest of all being the fearsome Tiki-Torchers, new age defenders of the night skies! Featuring the music of The Twangbabies (Americas Favorite Unknown Band!), GHOSTDRIVERS: The Musical celebrates old love, new friendships and RV-ing kookiness in general on the highways and the byways of the heart.
