IT'S NOTHING NEW - by Jessica and Kyle Dotson - NYSUMMERFEST FESTIVAL COMPETITION 2017
Its Nothing New takes place in an inner city just as a riot breaks out, after another black person is unjustly shot. Janie, has lost her younger brother, and is looking for him amidst the chaos. While Janie searches she reflects on the current state of her life, and the society she lives in being young black person.
