Kings of Leipzig
The City of Leipzig, Germany, has been the home of famous classical composers. In this program, the Society performs music by two of the city's most famous musicians, Robert Schumanns famous Piano Quintet, the Romantic song cycle Dichterlieber, and Felix Mendelssohns stormy String Quartet in F minor. Dont miss this opportunity to hear these treasures of the chamber music repertoire performed on period instruments, including a reproduction 1830s Graf fortepiano.
