Oakwood & Friends: June 25th at Crawford and Son
Chefs Crawford and Lata, along with the help of their young sons, will collaborate on a family-style menu after gathering ingredients and inspiration from our local farmers market. The theme of this guest chef series will center around the importance of teaching our next generation about healthy, fresh and local ingredients. Guests will meet and interact with our guest chef and our young sous chefs during the event.
Tickets are $95 per person, including beverages, tax and gratuity, and can be purchased here.
Mike Lata is chef/partner of the award-winning restaurants FIG and The Ordinary in Charleston. Lata opened FIG in 2003 with a simple philosophy: serve honest, local ingredients with informed service in a comfortable setting. The Ordinary opened in 2012 and was nominated as one of James Beards Best New Restaurants the next year. In 2009, Lata won a James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southeast and was a semifinalist for Outstanding Chef in 2017.
The collaboration with Mike Lata serves as the second dinner for Crawford and Sons Oakwood and Friends dinner series. Stay tuned for updates on more Southeastern chefs visiting us here in Raleigh in the coming months.
