The Fall Portfolio Tasting
The Winemakers Co-Op Fall Portfolio Tasting will feature 32 fine wines from some of New Jersey's top producers. Attendees will mingle with winemakers and proprietors, with specific opportunities to learn how these wines were crafted, and what makes New Jersey wines unique. Enjoy live jazz music and delicious foods, and talking wine with with the local wine press and enthusiasts. Special guest Bianca Bosker, New York Times bestselling author of "Cork Dork" will give two talks, offering an unorthodox dive into wine, obsession, and the science of taste. She will sign copies and read excerpts as well. Delicious foods will be available from Princeton dining hot spots Cargot Brasserie and Agricola Community Eatery.
VIP tickets will include access to a 12:30pm Winemakers' Round Table panel discussion and tasting. Each winemaker will present a vertical flight of 2 to 3 signature wines for tasting and discussion. VIP entrants will also have a chance to taste a selection of reserve wines, and a complimentary cheese & charcuterie platter.
The Winemakers Co-Op holds two large public tastings each year. All wines poured at these events adhere to the Co-Op's standards for NJ fine wine- that they are classic vitis vinifera varieties, dry or clasically off-dry, and from 100% New Jersey grown grapes. These wines are terroir driven; true expressions of what New Jersey climate and soil can represent! Most are estate grown, and several are single vineyard bottlings.
The Fall Portfolio Tasting will be held at Working Dog Winery, 610 Windsor Perrineville Road, Robbinsville, NJ 08691. The property includes several large tented spaces in the event of poor weather. General admission includes admission to the grounds, 4 hours of wine tasting, entertainment, and bottled water. Food purchases are additional; outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed. Children 13-20 will be admitted with a ticket at the $10 designated driver rate. Friendly dogs are welcome provided they remain on a leash and are kept outside of the tasting room. Please be respectful of our other guests and clean up after your pup when nature calls.General Admission tickets are $39 plus tax at the door, and VIP tickets will not be available at the door.
The Winemakers Co-Op and its member wineries endorse responsible behavior and reserve the right to refuse pouring for any patrons believed to be intoxicated.
