Canada 150 Workshops with Peter and Lauren
Join us in celebrating Canada's 150 anniversary.
Suburban Swing has teamed up with Peter Flahiff and Lauren Smith to bring you a wonderful afternoon of workshops and dances!
Each class is about 50 mins long and is $25 a class.
First class starts at 2 pm - Connection and how to survive the dance floor.
This class will teach you how to manage navigation on the dance floor. But mainly this class with be about connection with your partner and how to lead and follow properly on all styles of swing dance. This would be a great a levels class because you will learn to lead or follow better with all levels of dancers as well.
Second class starts at 3 pm - Beginner Lindy Hop
This class is for the very beginner or dancers that are switching roles. Lead to follow or follow to lead. Basic fundamentals of Lindy hop.
Third class Starts at 415 pm - Beginner Balboa.
This class is for the very beginner or dancers that are switching roles. Lead to follow or follow to lead. Basic fundamentals of Balboa.
Fourth Class starts at 530 pm - Peter and Lauren Specialty class Lindy Hop Based.
This class will be about cool moves and tricky transitions that you can socially lead and follow on the dance floor. This one will be for intermediate or higher, or with special permission from Peter and Lauren if you are a beginner level dancers transitioning into intermediate.
Later that night, Peter and Lauren will be teaching the drop in class at 745 pm and be around to dance with you throughout the night. The dance is not included in your workshop fees. Standard prices apply.
