Gala 2017: Down Memory Lane
How many times have you lately heard someone say, "Why cant things be the way they used to be?" Well, heres your chance to have an evening of old fashioned memories. Gala 2017 is a fond recalling of a bygone era - full of comedy, songs, dance and jokes.
DOWN MEMORY LANE is a salute to the entertainment styles of the early 1900's - vaudeville and melodrama. It features an old fashioned revue set in the Bowery of the turn of the century as well as a hilarious melodrama where you get to cheer the hero and hiss the villain.
Director Thomas N. Tyler has assembled a quality cast of both familiar and new faces to our theatre. Musical director for the production is Joe Cocozziello. Returning to our stage in the cast are Thomas J. Kane, Leo C. Contrino, Margaret Sullivan, Giuliana Azaro, Gary Lizardo, Amanda Nicole Mendez, Ed Healy, Jim McNulty, Michael Blake, Melissa Croy, Christy Yin, Vincent Law, Rachel Coffin, Jacob Clark Boggs, George Raiola, Albert Walsh and David Moseder.
Appearing with us for the first time are Sonya Rice, Nancy Cucinotta , Cynthia Fontaine, Mami Kudo, and Michael Ruggiere.
The Gala is our annual fundraiser and is always a fun evening. In addition to the show, there will be raffles, trivia contests and intermission entertainment.
