A Christmas Carol - Abridged
Chicago - Dream Theatre Company presents: A Christmas Carol Abridged adapted from Dickens' novel by Rachel Martindale. This hour-long, intimate staging is a faithful re-telling of the Christmas classic and a "present" you'll want to share with your whole family! The show opens with matinee performances on Dec. 15 and Dec. 16 at 3 pm, and then continues a run through January 6th on Thursdays (8 pm), Fridays (8 pm), Saturdays (3 pm & 8 pm), and Sundays (3 pm & 7 pm) at Dream Theatre, 556 W. 18th St. Chicago. Told in Dickens' own rich language, this version of A Christmas Carol is cleverly and elegantly portrayed by three actors on an almost bare stage. Let the world of Victorian London swirl around you as you follow Scrooge on his voyage to learn the true meaning of Christmas.
