IMPROVISING SHAKESPEARE!
Brush up your Shakespeare and learn how to improvise in the style of the immortal Bard! This 6-week master class will cover:
1. An overview of Shakespeare's theater and the theatrical conventions of his time 2. Shakespearean language 3. Shakespeare's use of poetic devices such as rhyme, meter and metaphor 4. Typical Shakespearean characters, locations and plot devices
By the end of the class, we'll be improvising short one-act plays in the style of William Shakespeare! 'Tis a master class devoutly to be wished! Class is limited to just 8 students and is taught by Kenn Adams, director of Synergy Theater's Spontaneous Shakespeare! So, get thee hither!
