HOW TO IMPROVISE A FULL-LENGTH PLAY
Based on his book, How to Improvise a Full-Length Play: The Art of Spontaneous Theater, Kenn Adams leads this 6-week master class in improvising a full-length play. The course will cover:
1. Dramatic scene structure and play structure 2. Character development and character arc 3. Building the world and making it important 4. Using the plot to illustrate the theme 5. Dramatic devices such as imagery, symbolism and metaphor
By the end of the class, we'll be improvising complete one-act plays. This class is limited to just 8 students to allow for maximum time on stage.
