Night In Oaxaca 2017: Nuestras Estrellas
About Night in Oaxaca:
The Mixteco/ Indigena Community Organizing Project (MICOP) welcomes over 400 county, business, and indigenous leaders for an evening of traditional Oaxacan food and culture, as we raise needed funds to support the indigenous immigrant communities of Ventura County at our signature Night in Oaxaca event.

The Night in Oaxaca evening begins with a reception featuring Oaxacan appetizers and a Oaxacan craft market. Dinner is MICOP's signature chicken mole. Our program this year will highlight "nuestras estrellas" (our stars), and will feature indigenous leaders, a key note by Oxnard Mayor Pro Tem Carmen Ramirez and will culminate in the awarding of our annual scholarships for indigenous students pursuing college education. We will finish the night with the Dance of the Diablitos!

Join us for an evening among the stars with Ventura County's indigenous immigrant community!!
