Join us for our 9th annual Philadelphia Leather Pride Night.... winner of the 2012 Pantheon of Leather Event of the Year and producer of the 2014 Leather Leadership Conference. Our evening will once again take place inside the newly renovated Voyeur Nightclub located in the heart of Philadelphias gayborhood at 1221 Saint James Street. Returning for her 9th year is our million dollar auctioneer Jo Arnone. With her booming voice we have been able to raise and donate out over $80,000 for our charities.
Our live auction consists of items across the spectrum...everything from Opera tickets, event passes, leather and fetish clothing, adult themed toys, equipment, books, art, jewelry and always a few special surprise items.
Our silent and Chinese auction will be run by Philadelphia's oldest and still active munch group - The Gate Munch. They have been part of PLPN since its inception in 2009. Bootblacking will be available all night on our main floor with local and regional talent.
Each year we bring in a a guest Emcee or two for the event. This year our Emcees are Jim and Arne Grandell-Bennett. Both Jim and Arne have held the title of Mr Woods Leather and together they are the current producers of the annual contest happening during Leather Weekend III (September 15-17) at the Woods Campground. They bring a sense of humor and realness to the table that makes them stand out from the crowd. Come and hang out with these great men and find out what makes them so special.
Early in the night we have our traditional Intimate Conversation With... this year we are blessed to have Sir Guy as our featured guest. Sir Guy is a Native New Yorker, former police officer and EMS supervisor who was a Ground Zero and Hurricane Katrina first responder and lifestyle Dominant. He is an emeritus board member for TES and presents/teaches across the country. Come learn about Sir Guys history and have a chance to mingle with him and others on our 2nd floor. Light faire will be provided for those that attend and of course the bar will be open!
We are also changing things up this year and adding a dance party to the mix. Whether you received your first piece of leather last week or 40+ years ago be proud of where you came from. For those that don't wear leather come have some fun in an environment that is acceptable for all of us, for together we stand strong. What a great way to blow off some steam and embrace the diversity our community brings. This party is hosted by 2017 Ms Philadelphia Leather Heather Raquel and 2017 Ms NJ leather Velvet Storm!!
