Annual Holiday Concert
This year's Holiday Concert will feature two neo-Renaissance works: Ottorino Respighi's Laud to the Nativity and selections from Gian Carlo Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors. Soloists include Grace Balint as the Angel, Lindsay Patterson as Mary, Tanya Edwards as Amahl, and Theresa Danne as the Mother.
The Chorale's annual event is being held at St. Mel's Catholic Church during the renovation of Pierce's Theater on the Hill. This family event will include a reception featuring an appearance by Santa bringing gifts to the children in attendance. Audience members are encouraged to bring a small, unwrapped toy for L.A. Children's Hospital.
This is a family event that has become a tradition over the past 15 years, which has been heartily received by audience and critics alike.
