Kathleen Supové presents The Gift: Earle Brown Graphic Gift Scores + 5 Premieres
Taking the graphic scores of Earle Brown that were musical gifts as a point of departure., pianist Kathleen Supové intersperses these with premieres of compositions written for her as gifts. In addition to Earle Brown, featured composers will be Armando Bayolo, Orlando Jacinto Garcia, Isaac Schankler, Arlene Sierra, and Alex Weiser. Earle Brown graphic scores will be projected onscreen, as well as other images hand-picked by the artists.
