Bleep Radio Presents: Paul Birken and MSQ (Matt TDK)
Fun in the Murky (news source and vinyl format record label) has been based in Hamilton since 2003. Keeping tabs on and releasing Techno that usually falls into the 'other' category. FitM has been promoting a peculiar and niche brand of dance-able electronic music for 14 years.
Bleep Radio grew out of FitM as a live web broadcast and has been producing shows since 2004 with host Trevor Wilkes and guests from around the world. With thousands of broadcasts and hundreds of archived episodes Bleep Radio has been around for quite some time.
The Bleep Radio Presents series is a new, fan funded endeavor that goes hand in hand with Bleep Radio. Using Patreon as a crowd funding source, Bleep Radio has raised enough funds to begin bringing international guests to Hamilton to perform a Bleep Radio episode in person at the FitM studio. Bleeps new event series will allow fans the opportunity to take part in a Bleep live stream while enjoying the same quality of sound that you can always expect from Bleep radio.
Paul Birken is a producer from Minneapolis and has been producing Techno and related for over 20 years now. A hardware guy who performs live with his collection of machines that go bleep. Paul has been touring Europe pretty heavily lately, but we found a weekend where Hamilton can benefit from his talent and skill.
Paul is a fierce remixer and has well over 100 releases under his belt. His live hardware sets are unique to each show and cant be matched by today's mainstream DJs.

MSQ (Matt TDK) is a Dj/Producer from Rotterdam, Netherlands and while he hasn't been as well known for as long as Paul, he does know his Techno. Matt will be playing a vinyl set for us with the bag of records he's bringing over from the Netherlands with him. Hamilton is but one stop on his North American tour. Let's make it count.

In between, in front of, or behind the headliners will be Trevor Wilkes (www.bleepradio.ca) the Bleep Radio host and owner of Fun in the Murky records and Kevin Kartwell (www.kevinkartwell.com), local Techno and House DJ.
This event is an up close and personal event. No one is hiding in a DJ booth or inaccessible. We'll be all performing in the middle of the available floor space for those of you who attend to check out how things work. Everything will also be recorded in video format so a DIY DVD release of the edited evening can be provided at later date to all who attend who attend and desire a copy (at no additional cost).
While not checking out what's going on on stage, feel free to relax and lounge in the theatre seating provided at the venue.
The event will run from 8pm and will begin to wrap up at 12:30am. Feel free to stop in as early as 7:30pm. You can watch us set-up if you don't mind sweat, laughs, and good natured fun.
