"McGraw and Fer combine to make one magical americana album [Seed of a Pine]...I could talk about all of the songs...until the cows come home. Honestly this is one of those...albums which 'had me at hello.' If you're a fan of modern folk and americana, you can't go wrong with Seed of a Pine." -Seattle Post Intelligencer - BlogCritics.org
"Together they [Dave & Mandy] have crafted an album that positively brims with excellent songs, fine playing and exquisite vocals."-No Depression ------------------------------------------------- Idyltime: http://idyltimemusic.com/
Idyltime is a recently formed string band playing out around the South Coast region of Oregon. The group consists of Ian Leonard on Mandolin, Beth Mason playing upright bass, Michael Anderson on guitar and Tate Mason on the 5-string banjo. Whether playing original music or original interpretations of traditional Americana, Idyltime just loves to pick. ------------------------------------------------- Wild Lens: http://www.wildlensinc.org/
Purpose Statement: Wild Lens brings biologists and filmmakers together to document interactions between wildlife species and human communities in an effort to find an ecological balance point. Large and small scale video productions document critical research being carried out by wildlife biologists worldwide. The perspectives of the biologists themselves serve as the primary vehicle for delivering coherent and compelling scientific research leading to the discovery of underlying causes behind species declines. The ultimate goal is to slow, if not STOP species declines. Wild Lens is working alongside other non-profit and governmental organizations to document and communicate to the public the various risks to habitat and wildlife species, particularly in understudied populations. Goals for scientific research projects go beyond publishing in scientific journals with documentary storytelling used to explain the issues behind the research being conducted. It is the hope of Wild Lens that by presenting biological fact in an exciting and accessible way, we can broaden the public interest in environmental and wildlife conservation one species at a time.
