Inspiring Chapters: Community Gatherings of Inspiration, Challenge, and Resolve
With the goal of robust and diverse community, Inspiring Chapters is a series of community conversations in which participants are asked to do two things: (a) commit to monthly book readings and meetings and (b) enlist one person to join you in this experience. We're asking that you invite a "community partner" to participate with you who is of a different generation than you, defined as someone at least 25 years older or younger than yourself. We are at a point in our nation's history when it is no longer enough to read books on our own. We must take personal responsibility in sharing inspiration, learning from one another, and building diverse community. Participating with someone who is meaningful in your life is one important way to practice these important values.
David Domke and colleagues will facilitate the monthly conversations. These will include both small-group and full-group dialogues.
The cost for participation in Inspiring Chapters is $100 + the cost of books. Your $100 registration covers the participation fee of you + your community partner. Inspiring Chapters will be limited to 200 sign-ups, thereby allowing 400 participants in total including community partners.
The schedule of monthly gatherings:
