RCRG Battle of the Bombs

This DOUBLE HEADER has RCRG's home teams taking on teams from Belleville and Hamilton. First, Killer Queens vs Belleville's Bombshells and in the second bout, see Violet Uprising face off against Hamilton's Bombers.

New to derby?
NO PROBLEM! We warmly welcome folks who are experiencing roller derby for the first time. There will be lots of kind derby veterans excited to give you a bit of derby 101. If you want to study up before the bout here's a quick guide to derby.

If you'd like to sit track-side, we suggest bringing a chair or blanket.

Radio DRBY
Listen up! Play-by-play of live derby action is now at your fingertips. Just bring your battery-powered radio to any RCRG home bout and tune in to Radio DRBY for all of the derby details! If you don't have a radio, CFRU 93.3 FM has generously lent us some for you to borrow.

Bring your headphones or turn up the volume to broadcast to the other fans. Either way, well see you (and youll hear us) at Centennial Arena.

Accessibility
This is a fully accessible event. There is tiered seating off of the ice pad that has access by stairs. There is a three inch step down to get on the ice pad that will have a ramp.

The space is quite large, made of concrete, and can be loud and boomy. We have ear plugs at the merch table for free or by donation.

There are mens and womens washrooms with stalls as well as a non-gendered single very large washroom.

Thirsty?
This is a licensed event with tasty beverages from Royal City Brewing and Wellington Brewery that you can enjoy trackside.
