21st Century Showtune-A-Thon

A fundraising concert, featuring prominent Los Angeles musical theatre performers. The performance will feature songs from classic musicals, as well as recent hits, plus comedy and dance. This fun and tuneful evening benefits the Proof Doubt Closer Theatre Company and its upcoming production of the landmark musical, ON THE 20th CENTURY.

Hosts Chelsea Pope and Stephen Juhl join producers Alena Bernardi and Trace Oakley as they present some of the best and brightest musical theatre performers in the city. Performers include Rick Simone, Sydnee Ortiz and Averi-Quinn Yorek, from Proof Doubt Closer's recent hit, 'CARRIE' THAT TUNE: HIT SONGS FROM FLOP MUSICALS, plus Georgan George, Philip McBride and Nicole Sevey, stars of the upcoming ON THE 20th CENTURY. Also featured are singer/songwriters Jenny Skiffington and Nathan Jenisch, actress/comedian Monica Percich, and Los Angeles musical theatre royalty Kristin Towers-Rowles, performing with her daughter, Makayla.

Following the concert, we'll have an open mic musical theatre jam, or as we like to call it, BYOSHMU Bring Your Own Sheet Music. Everyone is welcome to participate!
