Hole in the Wall BBQ and Eugene International Film Festival Foodie-Film Dinner
Why would a group of farmers stage a demolition derby with their combines? "Dryland" is an award winning documentary that has answered this question nationwide before appreciative audiences.
The screening of "Dryland" is a dinner engagement with the filmmakers, Sue Arbuthnot and Richard Wilhelm at Hole in the Wall BBQ, 1807 Olympic St., Springfield, OR, Wednesday, June 7th at 7:00 PM. Agrarian Ales will be pouring tasting samples of their beers as well.
Hole in the Wall BBQ will be serving a classic down-home BBQ dinner featuring a chicken and ribs combo with Texas potatoes, BBQ beans, rolls, corn muffins and soft drinks. Cookies will be served for the Q & A with Sue and Richard following the screening of "Dryland."
Their next film, "Refuge," will also be a topic of discussion. "Refuge" is still in production and concerns the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.
Arbuthnot and Wilhelm have traveled extensively across America showcasing their films and sharing their appreciation of rural life.
Agrarian Ales is one of very few breweries in North America making beer from hops grown and brewed on their own farm. This popular country brewery is delightful and family friendly. It is a destination for cyclists and adventure tourists.
