JM Productions is proud to present Ms. Vickie Shaw & Ms. Roxanna Ward direct from their Ptown engagement for their first mini New England Tour!
On July 23rd they will entertain Boston audiences at Club Cafe 209 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA. 02116 at 2 pm.
Vickie Shaw is the funniest comedian EVER! She said so herself! Vickie has been making people laugh until their faces hurt and ribs cracked! She gets her comedy from her life, with her partner Sargent Patch, their three children and now three grandchildren. Vickie's family is important to her, and as you will see they are just as dysfunctional as your family. She includes them in her act because it is cheaper than therapy.
She has been in movies, "Laughing Matters More", television, Comedy Central, four comedy specials on the LOGO Channel, Late In Life Lesbians, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, just to name a few. She headlines on Olivia Cruises, HRC events, Lambda Legal, GLAAD, and the list just gets bigger.
Vickie Has been featured on various television shows, Comedy Central's "Premium Blend", Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, WE TV, Wisecracks Specials on LOGO as well as 2 other comedy specials on LOGO-"You Can't Take the Girl Out of Texas" and "Vickie Shaw Live - Sick and Wrong Tour". She has started in the Award Winning Movie, "Laughing Matters More". She also just released her 3rd DVD, "I'm Not Your Role Model". She has been performing all over the US, Cruises, Resorts, Comedy Clubs, Colleges, Corporate and Political fundraisers, Churches fundraisers, Yes Churches! And just about everywhere else.

Audiences love her humor, not just because she's funny but because it's all true. From her stories about her partner Sgt. Fresh off her sold out one woman show " Roxanna Ward Alone..... and Somewhat Together Cabaret-comic extraordinaire, Roxanna Ward who hails from Laguna Beach, Ca., hits the stage with her engaging blend of piano bar and comedy. One reviewer observed, its as if Bette Midler and Steve Allen had a love child. A pianist, musical arranger, producer, and conductor (Milwaukee Symphony), Ward has worked with legends Dolly Parton, Laura Nyro, Tennessee Ernie Ford, and Bea Arthur.
As a songwriter, she penned the R&B single Remember Who You Are, recorded by the late Phyllis Hyman, which reached # 16 on Billboards jazz chart. Ward is currently teaching and directing at Laguna Beach High School.
