Puccini's tragic one act opera, Il Tabarro, followed by the lively music and words of Gilbert and Sullivan together form a perfect operatic double bill to cater for all tastes and for established and neophyte opera and operetta lovers. The lush music of Il Tabarro complements a dark tale of love, betrayal and death, whilst the retrospective G&S Remembered spans almost all the operettas composed by the productive pair.
