Music is in the Air

On Sunday May 28th the library's monthly Film Club showing expands to a full afternoon of entertainment. We're offering two films, live music courtesy of the Main Street School of Music, fine food from M3 Eatery, and art & photography inspired by music in our Art Corridor.
Movies: Born to be Blue (12:30 - 2pm ) starring Ethan Hawke is a re-imagining of jazz trumpeter Chet Baker's life in the 60s.
At 3:15pm is Miles Ahead - the exploration of the life and music of Miles Davis - directed by and starring Don Cheadle.
Between the movies, enjoy fine food samplings from M3 Eatery. There will be 30 minutes of live music from several students of the Main Street School of Music between 2:30 and 3pm. We will also launch our newest Art Corridor Exhibit on this afternoon - local work inspired by music!
Tickets covering the full afternoon (or any part thereof) are only $10 with all proceeds going to enhance cultural programming at the library.
