Holiday Ornament Making Workshop
This workshop covers three techniques to create keepsake heritage ornaments:
Quilling -- a paper craft that uses thin paper in curls to create delicate snowflake designs -- has applications for greeting cards and scrap-booking too. It was started by nuns in the 1600's-- wow that's old.
Lace painting-- pieces of venice lace are painted and then molded into ornaments. Very Victorian or modern.
Beaded, sequined balls-- a blast from the past. Using sequins and beads, create 1950's and 60's style ornaments-- great for that rock-a-billy aluminum tree. Maybe you made these as a kid.
