Season Pass Leaf Peeper Concerts 2017
The Leaf Peeper 2017 Season brings you exciting new music, familiar works and a dynamic mix of new artists and returning favorites.
Our first concert at 5pm on September 9th, will take place at a new venue for us: St. James Place in great Barrington. STORIED NIGHTS features members of the award winning Imani Winds in collaboration with Latin Jazz Grammy winning pianist Alex Brown and Leaf Peeper's own Music Director and flutist, Eugenia Zukerman. Leaf Peepers is proud to have commissioned a world premier from the Imani Winds' flutist, Valerie Coleman.
The second concert of the Leaf Peeper 2017 Season, FOUR ON THE FLOOR, featuring the Jasper String Quartet with Leaf Peeper's Music Director and Flutist Eugenia Zukerman, will take place on September 23rd at Saint James Church in Chatham, NY at 7pm.
FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, the third concert of the Leaf Peeper 2017 Season, featuring the Voxare String Quartet accompanying the Russian silent movie classic "The Man with the Movie Camera, with music by Shostakovich, Prokofiev and others and narrated by Voxare's violist Erik Peterson. This performance will take place at TSL (Time and Space Limited) in Hudson, NY at 7pm on October 7th.
On October 21st at 5pm - join us at St. James Place in Gt. Barrington for BREATHTAKING BAROQUE, the fourth and final concert of the Leaf Peeper 2017 Season, our annual Newell Jenkins Baroque Concert. This concert features Anthony Newman on harpsichord, Steven Taylor - oboe, Peter Kolkay - bassoon and Leaf Peeper's own Music Director and flutist, Eugenia Zukerman.
