Summer HIstory Weeks
For two weeks in July, children explore life in 19th century New York City in one of its most treasured historic sites: the Mount Vernon Hotel Museum and Garden. Kids engage in historic crafts and games, behind-the-scenes tours, old fashioned cooking, scavenger hunts, indoor and outdoor fun and field trips to historic sites. On the last day, campers create their own exhibits and lead their guests on a tour of the museum. Mid morning snacks provided. Session One should bring a brown bag lunch. If you have not yet registered your child, please visit www.mvhm.org or email n.sokolova@mvhm.org before proceeding. Session One: Ages 9 12, July 10 through 14, 8:30 am. to 3pm. Fee: $275; Session Two: Ages 6 8, July 17 21, 9 am to 12:00 pm. Fee: $200;
