One October
ONE OCTOBER is a lyrical, loving portrait of New York City and its people in October 2008. On the eve of Obamas historic election and an unprecedented economic crisis, we follow Clay Pigeon, an intrepid radio host at New Jerseys WFMU, as he takes to the streets and delves into the preoccupations of everyday New Yorkers facing the promise and uncertainty of change. The film celebrates the resiliency of the human spirit and the beauty that lies in the rich cultural tapestry of a dynamic metropolis. USA, 55m. Expected to Attend: Director Rachel Shuman, subject Clay Pigeon.
